Today I stumbled upon an amazing story that I want to share here as my very first post.
Five year old Aidan was diagnosed with Leukemia in September of 2010. Despite his battle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) - Wikipedia , his spirits remain high. Aidan's loving and supportive family, along with his love for drawing and all things scary have helped keep him in good cheer. Aidan recently completed his fourth round and first phase of chemotherapy and is doing well. However, he will likely have to go through 2 to 3 more years of chemotherapy treatments. To help ease the burden of paying for the treatment, Aidan has begun selling his artwork- Aidan's Monsters. The boy and his family have already sold over 1400 drawings, but they still need our support. If you have a minute to browse or would like to purchase one of his drawings, check out Aidan's artwork at Aidan's Monsters. Also, if you would like to follow his story and/or make a donation please visit his blog at Aid for Aidan. Thank you all for your help and for supporting this great child and his family, but remember that there are many other stories similar to Aidan's. We should all be thankful for our blessings and be willing to help others when we are able.
